How Publishing Works
- Connect the X account for each brand with OAuth.
- Posts publish programmatically at the scheduled time through the official X API.
- Because the X API is billed per request, Markaestro applies a spending cap per workspace so API costs cannot run away.

The composer checks every X post against these limits while you write, so a post is never queued only to fail at publish time.

Metrics You Get Back

How many images can an X post have?
Up to 4 images, or 1 animated GIF, or 1 video. X does not allow mixing images and video in one post.
What is the image size limit on X?
5 MB for images and 15 MB for animated GIFs, per X's media documentation.
Does Markaestro count X characters the same way X does?
Markaestro enforces the 280-character limit. X itself weighs links as 23 characters and some emoji and CJK characters as 2, so leave a little room when a post is close to the limit.
